State of mind

The mermaid lay dead by the sea, flies and vultures and hayenas appreciated the scent of her rotten flesh, the curvatures in her slim figure.

The shadows of her memories cast a faint emboss on his already dull mind. Being shadows, the colour they bore was black. The rest of the dimensions of emotions were simply blocked by the penumbric region. The core was umimaginably dark.
